Oct 23-Third Party Debate News Update
admin @ October 23, 2008 # One Comment
As reported by Free And Equal, the Nader Campaign, And the Constitution Party
other relevent sites to visit are www.breakthematrix.com and www.thirdpartydebate.com
As reported, ALL candidates have been invited, and one must ask about the absence of the “main candidates” in a system that a) considers itself a ‘democracy’, b) has the mainstream media not report this event whatsover, and c) fails to report on the reason that voter turnout, in the most basic understanding of math, ignores the essential majority that has no faith in the system at all to even bother registering a ballot. It’s not rocket science –in fact, it’s a cry from the people for something else. And a suspicious thing when 2 parties control access to information…

Op Ed Guest Presidential Candidate, David Jon Sponheim, “On the Destiny of US Involvement in Iraq”
admin @ September 22, 2008 # No Comment Yet
Unlike the plan to build a tri-state government in Iraq, I don’t want to force the Iraqi government to adopt any government devised by the U.S.. That can only lead to more hostility and sectarian violence. Separating people that once lived side by side in harmony makes no sense. We all have seen what the break up of Yugoslavia led to. That pattern is not the pathway to peace. It is only a new path to War.
I would offer the Iraqis a simple solution to their deeply troubled Nation. I propose that we assist the Iraqi’s in building Weapons Free Safe Zones where they can prosper in Renewable Energy Villages far away from any threat of Terror.

From India: “Are We Really Free?”
admin @ August 19, 2008 # One Comment
In India, freedom is an illusion. And unlike an elaborate hoax, this illusion is staring everyone in the face. People just refuse to see it and acknowledge it. They have no problems living under a nanny state that forces everyone to use seat-belts and helmets. Sure these save lives and should be worn by everyone traveling but the state shouldn’t be enforcing this on people. At most it can create awareness about these issues and let the people judge.

(From India) A Letter to the PM
admin @ June 25, 2008 # 2 Comments
The Following is a repost from the India based Opinion Blog ‘India, Wake Up’
We Thought it was an interesting piece, because in Western-centric North America, few people imagine the actual population numbers and issues India faces. It is certainly not a Third World Nation, but rather a balancing superpower with it’s own large army and Nuclear Arsenal. With China and Pakistan right at it’s door, diplomacy in that part of the world is tricky business.
Health care, quality of life concerns, poverty, employment, racism…sound familiar America? Except India has had a female Prime Minister, who served twice.
We added links to some terminology (such as government acronyms and classifications) for those who might not be immediately familiar with such terms. Enjoy, and Learn.
