2012 Presidential Candidates;a Briefer Than Brief Brief

Before I go ANY further into this essay / research piece - I want YOU, fellow pol-spotters, to pass along some of your “suspects” from ANY party - whether via:

Let’s hear the names you have milling around in the back of your head - or candidates you’d like to see - or trial balloons you’d like to float - or solid “yes I am considerings…”, whether it’s Ron Paul, former NM Gov Gary Johnson, former Gov Jesse Ventura, Loretta Null, Steve Kubby, Gov Blagojevich (lol), Newt Gingrich, Cindy Sheehan, and an a wide array of other potentialities…Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin…et al.

It should make for an interesting pre ‘year - end - list - barrage’ of “best - of - nothings” that are the stock - in - trade of every publication. (other than this spec we promise we won’t do one)

We’ll come back to THIS topid on Dec 22 and have a gander.

Election Day Alternatives From GlobalPundit.Org - and We’re Nuts Enough to Offer a Prediction, too…

Frankly. there’s no point in writing or chasing anything you’re already going to see on every newspaper and every newscast - SO here’s what we’re doing, and here’s our recommendation…

We’re visiting polling stations in Cook County, IL all morning - among many other things - watch for our LIVE FEEDS at various points throughout the day (and they’ll be archived) at WWW.THEUPTAKE.ORG

at the same time, when I can, i’ll be uploading photography raw and unedited and likely untagged and unnamed - and it will be all posted either througout the day when I can get a breather - or one fantastic barrage after 1 AM Central Time at our GLOBALPUNDIT.ORG FLICKR SITE .

As well , you can follow the minutiae that is Twitter since i’m certain to have some great updates and notices throughout the day. If you decide to join us and follow us on Twitter, drop us a message and let us know if there’s anything you’d like to see and we’ll point our cameras, live cameras, or anything else at it…

12 DAY CONVENTION PHOTO RECAP: DAY 7 of 12 - SO MANY POLICE!!

admin @ September 10, 2008 # No Comment Yet

It really was a sight to see in both Denver and St. Paul, and the Democrat and Republican Leadership should be ashamed of themselves. We’re talking G8 style Summit security perimeters that spanned a huge swath around the Pepsi and XCel Energy Center.

The hundreds of millions of dollars that were expended on such a useless venture was astounding. That SWAT, National Guard, Private Security, Secret Service, and out of state law enforcement’s sheer overtime and travel bills are staggering to imagine.

Sept.3 , Day 3 Inside the RNC…
Having dedicated yesterday’s agenda to the very long, very sold out, very noisy Ron Paul Rally for The Republic at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, today I dedicate myself to proceedings inside the RNC.
Remember, if you want to see live streaming of multiple events, please visit our colleagues’ [...]

SOMETIMES THE ENQUIRER IS RIGHT or A How-To In Becoming A Media Consumer

admin @ August 10, 2008 # No Comment Yet

John Edwards brushing us off by using the catch phrase “supermarket tabloid” is somewhat ironic. In a supermarket at least 15,000 products line the shelves and coolers. We pick them up, read food labels, touch, squeeze, smell and sometimes sneak a sample before we buy. Are we less consumers of media? If you answered yes, then stop it. Stop it now. Become an educated consumer of media. Remember, if we don’t consume, we make cons of u and me.
