Election Day Alternatives From GlobalPundit.Org - and We’re Nuts Enough to Offer a Prediction, too…

Frankly. there’s no point in writing or chasing anything you’re already going to see on every newspaper and every newscast - SO here’s what we’re doing, and here’s our recommendation…

We’re visiting polling stations in Cook County, IL all morning - among many other things - watch for our LIVE FEEDS at various points throughout the day (and they’ll be archived) at WWW.THEUPTAKE.ORG

at the same time, when I can, i’ll be uploading photography raw and unedited and likely untagged and unnamed - and it will be all posted either througout the day when I can get a breather - or one fantastic barrage after 1 AM Central Time at our GLOBALPUNDIT.ORG FLICKR SITE .

As well , you can follow the minutiae that is Twitter since i’m certain to have some great updates and notices throughout the day. If you decide to join us and follow us on Twitter, drop us a message and let us know if there’s anything you’d like to see and we’ll point our cameras, live cameras, or anything else at it…

Op Ed Guest Presidential Candidate, David Jon Sponheim, “On the Destiny of US Involvement in Iraq”

admin @ September 22, 2008 # No Comment Yet

Unlike the plan to build a tri-state government in Iraq, I don’t want to force the Iraqi government to adopt any government devised by the U.S.. That can only lead to more hostility and sectarian violence. Separating people that once lived side by side in harmony makes no sense. We all have seen what the break up of Yugoslavia led to. That pattern is not the pathway to peace. It is only a new path to War.

I would offer the Iraqis a simple solution to their deeply troubled Nation. I propose that we assist the Iraqi’s in building Weapons Free Safe Zones where they can prosper in Renewable Energy Villages far away from any threat of Terror.

For those of us know all to well to be looking between the lines, we think you’ll understand what Davis is trying to convey. While your at it, have a peek at www.operationitch.com.

Unless of course, you hear a few platitudes and are willing to give certain people a total pass. But that just proves you don’t know your history, doesn’t it? Well?

12 DAY CONVENTION PHOTO RECAP: DAY 7 of 12 - SO MANY POLICE!!

admin @ September 10, 2008 # No Comment Yet

It really was a sight to see in both Denver and St. Paul, and the Democrat and Republican Leadership should be ashamed of themselves. We’re talking G8 style Summit security perimeters that spanned a huge swath around the Pepsi and XCel Energy Center.

The hundreds of millions of dollars that were expended on such a useless venture was astounding. That SWAT, National Guard, Private Security, Secret Service, and out of state law enforcement’s sheer overtime and travel bills are staggering to imagine.

McCAIN’S MISOGYNY & FEAR KEEP PALIN ON TIGHT LEASH

admin @ September 8, 2008 # One Comment

During Sarah Palin’s acceptance speech when nominated by John McCain for Vice President, McCain wouldn’t leave Palin alone on stage. Rather than give her the momentary limelight, McCain peered over her shoulder and read her speech alongside her. He was visibly nervous and has remained so ever since. Other than Wednesday at the RNC when Palin finally appeared solo, the image of McCain hovering authoritatively over her is the constant at every appearance. McCain’s public subjugation of Palin, and her public acceptance of it, sets male-female advancement back decades. Were Palin truly a trusted and powerful woman she’d request and be granted autonomy on stage, and reject McCain’s Taliban-like presence. All that’s missing is her burka.
