note: the final installments of John H McManus’s report on his experience volunteering for the Obama Campaign will be posted over the next 2 days (Jan 23 and 24) with photographs and video.

It was interrupted as I was able to transfer a portion of my Inuaguration Credentials to him. After the work he and others had put into the campaign, I encouraged him to utilize them.

John’s coverage will be fun and offer (or remind) you of the scene from the ground in D.C. that day.

And of course a more pressing point emerges from the layoffs of many in the media. As ugly as the term has been portrayed, and doubtless few have done their jobs i a way that strengthens the public’s confidence - it’s actually the hard working researcher-geek-multitasker types that have been affected.
